Vintage Poinsettia Christmas Card

This Christmas greeting card is a small work of art. Starting with the base of bright white cardstock that has been distressed using tea dye brown and mocha brown. Over it a hand stamped background with music sheet images and stenciled with texture paste using the words Merry Christmas as a pattern and hand inked with vintage photo brown and tea dye brown. The stenciled pattern has been hand embossed with red and green embossing glaze adding texture and dimension. A giant poinsettia image has been hand stamped, die cut and hand colored with distress crayons using the water color technique for a vibrant and stunning finish. The sentiment has been hand stamped in mocha brown and distressed with the same color. Both the sentiment and poinsettia sit dimensionally over the background a a strip of bright red velvet ribbon finished by 3 shiny gold dimensional drops situated on the top portion of the ribbon. Musical Nativity Greeting card

One of a kind Christmas card made on extra heavy bright white base and lined with mocha brown heavy cardstock framing the background. The background has been hand inked with distress inks in several shades of mustard yellow and hand stamped with the Star of David and holiday motives in subdue gold. A fluttering translucent old gold ribbon has been texturally pasted to the background adding texture and interest to it. Over the looped ribbon die cut pine leaves hand inked in mossy green and lucky green provide the center placement for the die cut nativity. The nativity has been hand inked for distress look and hand stamped with the Ode of Joy lyrics stamp in gold and brown. The sentiment had been hand stamped on browns and gold and hand distressed.
